Baby Cole comes to visit

We finally got to see baby Cole for the first time for the 24th of July weekend. He has the cutest cheeks and legs in the world. He will be passing up Brayden in the next few months unless Brayden puts on a whole lot of weight really quick. My whole family came over and had dinner with us, except Annette and Scott. The kids had fun swimming and eating and eating and swimming. Finally there is another Nelson boy in the family. It has taken so many years we never thought it would happen. Good job Eric & Denise!!!!

Recipe for Oreo Truffles - highly recommended by Heather Cornelius

  • 18 oz package oreos - finely crushed
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 pound baking chocolate, melted (anykind you like)
  • In a large mixing bowl combine crushed oreos and softened cream cheese. Beat with a mixer on low until well blended.
  • Form 1 inch balls by hand. Dip in melted chocolate and place on cookie sheet covered with waxed paper.
  • Refridgerate 1 hour or until firm. Then eat and of course share them with someone. This recipe makes about 50 truffles.
